Syrup

• 2 cups Farm & Function Frozen Guava
• ½ cup Granulated Sugar
• ¼ tsp Ground Cinnamon
• ¼ tsp Ground Nutmeg

Pancake Batter

• 2 Cups Flour
• 4 tsps Baking Powder
• 1 Egg
• 1 3/4 cup Coconut Milk
• 2 tbsps Guava Syrup
• ¼ tsp Salt
• ½ tsp Ground Cinnamon
• ¼ tsp Ground Nutmeg
• 1 tsp Vanilla Extract

Directions

For Syrup, in a saucepan on medium-low heat add Frozen Guava cubes and allow to fully melt.
Add sugar and spices. Let the syrup simmer for 20-30 mins or until it reaches your desired consistency.

For Pancakes, add dry ingredients in a bowl, whisk to combine.
Add egg, milk, guava syrup and vanilla to the dry ingredients and whisk until combined.

Heat a cast iron pan on medium heat and add a tsp of butter.

Pour a ¼ cup of batter into the middle of the pan. When bubbles rise to the surface, edges, flip pancakes.

Plate pancakes with spiced syrup, serve and enjoy!
